The two then encourages eachother and move on with their life, accepting that their shattered dreams cannot be mend anymore. The positive attitude Daisuke develops tells the viewers that life can be better if you are willing to look at things from a different angle.

Rika and Daisuke eventually are able to look past their failures, learn to love their new life, and move on. Like what Rika says in the scene above, life will not give you everything you want. Thus, you can either complain about it and trap yourself in the mourning stage or you can accept it, move on, and try to find a different goal to achieve. Your life is not over when you fail to accomplish your goal.

The news Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 died down with time, but the reconstruction continued. This part of the drama reminds its viewers about the disaster and inform them about the reconstruction process, showing the people who are trying to continue their life after their home was destroyed.

Above shows a scene about a group of women making stocking dolls for sell to raise money for reconstruction. They decide that it is too tiresome and useless and sit and wait for help, so they decide to do what they can to improve their own situation. Their attitude can potentially encourage the viewers since if people with destroyed home moved on, why can't you move on too? Also, the drama tells its viewers that it is useless to sit around and wait for things to happen. Instead, you should seize opportunties or even create opportunities by yourself. You have to take action in order to move forward.

I believe the greatest lesson the drama teaches its viewers is that life moves on, so no matter if your dreams are shattered or your home is destroyed in a disaster, you need to move on with life and not to trap yourselves in the reminiscence of the past. People should look at the future with a positive attitude and carry on.
