3.) How the society forces people to play a character that may not be themselves

People often create an image that differs from who they truly are in front of people in order to gain popularity, respect, and approval. For example, Takuto has been playing the positive confident job applicant even though he is actually distressed that he can't find a job and feels constantly insecure. However, job interviews force people to play a character as the applicants are judged by how they act in 10 minutes. In the scene below, the middle school girl Takuto tutors also plays a different character at school so that she will be well-liked. To play the character, she even tries to play dumb. The drama doesn't outrightly discourage people from playing characters; however, it does recognize that the action is exhausting and suggest its viewers to not do it.

4.) Family Unity and How Important Families are

'
In the above scene, Takuto confesses his lonliness to his mother, telling her that he has always wanted her attention. The mother faces the same struggle: she wants to be acknowledged by her husband as the "excellent wife." I think what the drama production team wants to communicate here is that it is important for family members to recognize and encourage eachothers' efforts. They probably want to remind their viewers to pay more attention to their family and support them.
I think all these small messages compile together to a final message: live your own life. Despite what your parents are trying to get you to do, you should cherish every moment in your life, be yourself and live your own life. You only experience life once, and wasting any second of it to pretend to be someone you are not is a rather stupid choice. Yes, you might not have your family's support at first, but because they are your family, they will understand your choice one day.
